Saturno Ethical Charter
Saturno is a tool for practitioners in the spiritual, wellness, and personal development space: interpretive and guidance practices (astrologers, tarot readers, Human Design practitioners, numerologists), energetic and sensory practices (energy healers, reiki masters, sound therapists, crystal healers, animal communicators), and related fields. These practices touch on what is most personal, and the quality of the relationship between practitioner and client rests entirely on trust.
This Ethical Charter defines the commitments every practitioner makes when using Saturno. It protects clients, recognizes serious practitioners, and safeguards the integrity of the community forming around the platform.
1. Honesty and transparency
1.1. Present an honest and accurate profile. I provide accurate information about my identity, training, practices, location, and legal status. I do not claim diplomas, certifications, or experience I do not have.
1.2. Be trained in my practice. I work in fields for which I have received serious training, which I can describe to my clients on request.
1.3. State pricing and terms clearly. I disclose pricing, duration, and the structure of my sessions in advance. No hidden costs, no surprises.
1.4. Use digital tools transparently. I use Saturno’s recording, transcription, and AI summary features within their intended scope. I answer my clients’ questions about these tools clearly, and I make no improper use of them.
1.5. Comply with applicable law. I comply with the legal, tax, and regulatory obligations that apply to my activity, including data protection and consumer rights.
2. Professional conduct
2.1. Welcome without discrimination. I welcome every client with humanity, without judgment, and without discrimination based on origin, gender, orientation, religion, or any other characteristic.
2.2. Work conscientiously. I keep my commitments, I attend to the quality of my work, and I maintain clear communication with every client.
2.3. Not overstate my practice. I do not claim a supernatural gift, special powers, or privileged access to hidden truths. My practice rests on tools, frameworks of interpretation, attentive listening, and experience, and not on extraordinary faculties. I describe honestly what my work offers and where its limits lie.
2.4. Hold a duty of best efforts, not guaranteed outcomes. I commit to bringing my knowledge, my tools, and my full attention to each client. I do not guarantee that any event will occur, that any prediction will prove accurate, or that any specific objective will be reached. No promise of outcome is part of my engagement.
2.5. Not substitute for a licensed professional. My practice is not a medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or financial consultation. I do not present myself as such, I do not give advice falling under those fields, and I make this clear to my clients.
2.6. Respect confidentiality. What a client shares in session remains confidential. I do not disclose their identity, words, or history to any third party, except at their explicit request or when required by law.
3. Respect for free will
3.1. No deterministic predictions. My practices explore dynamics, cycles, and possibilities, never fixed futures. I leave the client with full responsibility for their choices and full recognition of their free will.
3.2. Preserve the client’s autonomy. I do not foster dependency. I do not create a need for repeated sessions or continuous validation. My role is to illuminate, not to direct.
3.3. Protect vulnerable people. I am especially attentive to clients in fragile situations (loneliness, grief, breakup, financial difficulty, altered emotional state). I never take advantage of that vulnerability, and I decline repeated sessions that would amount to a dependency on consultation rather than genuine support.
3.4. No proselytizing. I do not use sessions to promote a religious belief, a political ideology, or a sectarian movement. The session stays within the practice that was advertised.
4. Ethical framework of the session
4.1. Not claim to communicate with the deceased. I do not present myself as an intermediary with departed people, and I do not offer sessions intended to convey messages from someone who has passed away. This practice exposes grieving clients, often in deep vulnerability, to promises no practitioner can keep. By extension, I do not claim to summon spirits or to serve as an intermediary with invisible entities.
4.2. Not perform occult work. I do not offer hex removal, magic, witchcraft, or paid rituals aimed at influencing a person’s fate, will, or circumstances. These services have historically been the ground for serious abuse and financial exploitation, and they have no place on Saturno.
4.3. No third-party readings. My sessions are for the person present. I do not perform readings, charts, or analyses about an absent or non-consenting third party, whether a relative, partner, colleague, or anyone else.
4.4. Not conduct sessions with minors. I do not work with minors in session. I may, however, perform analyses commissioned by a parent about their child (such as a birth chart or an astrological reading for a baby), provided the work is based solely on the data provided, with no direct participation from the minor.
4.5. Maintain a clear boundary with my clients. I do not enter into or solicit any romantic, intimate, or sexual relationship with a client. This boundary is essential to preserve trust and the integrity of the work.
4.6. Not interfere with medical care. I never advise a client to suspend, alter, or stop a treatment or medical follow-up, including psychological or psychiatric care. I do not disparage healthcare professions or the care a client is receiving.
4.7. Refer when needed. If I notice signs of serious distress in a client (significant suffering, suicidal ideation, dissociation, addiction), or if the situation falls outside the scope of my practice, I refer them to a qualified health professional (physician, psychiatrist, psychologist) or to appropriate emergency resources.
4.8. Not turn the session into a sales pitch. The session is a time for support, not a commercial moment. I may answer a question or mention another offering if it directly addresses a stated need, but I do not actively solicit my clients during the session. Any sales activity happens outside of session time.
By adhering to this Ethical Charter, I commit on my honor to upholding each of these principles in my daily practice on Saturno.
