Saturno SAS (“Saturno”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal data when you use our service.

2. Data We Collect
Account Data
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture through our authentication provider (Clerk).
Meeting Data
When you use Saturno to record meetings, we process:
- Meeting recordings (audio and video)
- Transcripts generated from recordings
- AI-generated summaries of your meetings
- Participant information (names, roles)
- Clips you create from recordings
Billing and Payment Data
If you subscribe to a paid plan or start Stripe onboarding, we process billing contact details, billing addresses, tax or VAT IDs, subscription status, invoices, and connected account status through Stripe. Saturno does not store your full card number; payment details are processed by Stripe.
Usage Data
We process product usage and diagnostic data through PostHog, including page views, route paths, referrer and campaign parameters, browser and device information, authenticated account identifiers, error messages, stack traces, route search context, and session replay data on authenticated product routes. Password inputs are masked in session replays.
We also store your application preferences, including language, locally in your browser.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Provide and maintain the Saturno service
- Record, transcribe, and summarize your meetings
- Generate clips from your recordings
- Authenticate your identity and secure your account
- Process subscriptions, invoices, taxes, and Stripe onboarding
- Understand product usage, investigate errors and issues, and provide customer support
4. Third-Party Processors
We share your data with the following processors, solely to provide the service:
- Clerk — Authentication
- Recall.ai — Meeting recording
- OpenAI — AI-generated summaries
- Stripe — Payments, subscriptions, tax calculation, and connected account onboarding
- PostHog — Product analytics, session replay, and error monitoring
- Zoom — Online meeting creation and management when a user connects Zoom
- AWS — Storage and processing
- Convex — Backend database
- Vercel — Frontend hosting
5. Data Transfers
Your data is transferred to processors based in the United States. These transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards in accordance with GDPR Article 46.
6. Data Retention
- Account data is retained until you delete your account.
- Recordings and media are stored in active storage for 30 days, then archived to long-term storage.
- Billing records are retained for as long as necessary to operate the service and comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
- Analytics, diagnostics, and session replay data is retained according to our PostHog project retention settings.
- You may request deletion of your data at any time, subject to records we must keep by law.
7. Data Retention and Protection
Saturno retains personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
When a user connects Zoom, Saturno processes and stores the Zoom integration data needed to provide meeting-link creation and management, such as OAuth credentials, token metadata, meeting identifiers, and participant join URLs. This data is retained while needed to operate the connected integration and related session features.
Data stored in Saturno’s backend database is encrypted at rest. Data transmitted between Saturno, users, Zoom, and service providers is protected using HTTPS/TLS. Access to stored integration data is restricted to authorized backend services and authorized personnel with a legitimate operational need.
8. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict processing
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured format

9. Cookies and Tracking
Saturno uses PostHog analytics, error monitoring, and session replay technologies to understand product usage, investigate errors, and replay authenticated product sessions. Session replay is not used on public, legal, or authentication pages, and password fields are masked.
We also store essential preferences, including language, in your browser’s local storage and first-party cookies.
10. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage, signed URLs for media access, and HMAC-authenticated API communications.
11. Children
Saturno is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the updated policy on this page.
